Joining London
Joining London reimagines the city’s icons as layered works of art – complex, original, and enduring.

London is a city of layers – history, culture, commerce, and creativity all colliding in a single skyline. Joining London is Mark's exploration of that complexity, seen through the distinctive lens of the Joiner technique. Each work is composed of dozens of individually prepared photographs, aligned and assembled by hand into one cohesive vision. The result is not a simple record of place, but a reimagining of it – familiar yet fractured, precise yet full of movement.
From the quiet grandeur of Kensington Palace to the bustle of Borough Market, from the geometry of the Millennium Bridge to the gothic sweep of the Palace of Westminster, every Joiner captures London’s personality in a way no single frame could achieve. The city reveals itself as a mosaic of moments, perspectives, and atmospheres – a portrait both intimate and monumental.
Joining London is both a love letter to the city and a statement in contemporary photographic art. Each piece is original, archival, and editioned for collectors who value work that is as enduring as it is unique.
