My name is Mark Murfitt and I create fine art photographs monumental compositions which transform familiar landmarks into something entirely new.
Using a distinctive “Joining” technique, each work is built from dozens of individually captured photographs layered into a single immersive narrative — a living story woven from light, perspective, and place. This is more than a technique, it is capturing time, memory, and detail across multiple images in ways no single frame could, revealing subtle rhythms and hidden beauty within the familiar.
My 'joiners' reimagine icons we think we know, inviting us to look longer, to see deeper, and to experience the ordinary as extraordinary — where landmarks become panoramic narratives and fragments of memory are joined into a single enduring work of art.
