Landscapes
These landscapes are a different side of my work — quieter, more straightforward, but no less considered. Shooting almost exclusively in a 6.5x2.4 panoramic crop, I'm drawn to space: the foreground we walk past, the sky we forget to look up at, the distance we focus on while missing everything around it. In a way, we all crop the world as we move through it — filtering out the periphery to concentrate on whatever's in front of us. This format tries to undo that, pulling everything back into the frame. Mostly Cornwall and London, with the occasional detour further afield.
