Eden Project (outside)

The Eden Project in Cornwall, UK, is one of my favourite places to visit whenever we visit the west country.
I love everything about it, I love that it's an engineering and architectural marvel, I love that it's looking to educate those who visit on the fragile relationship man has with this planet we've been care over and I love that it's forward thinking and practical in how it relates an incredibly important message to the next generation.
I must have visited the Eden Project 30-40 times over the years, and I've still not had enough of the place, I find it peaceful, interesting, reassuring, fun, information, clever and most of all hopeful.

This joiner is the vista you're presented with as you exit the entrance lobby having bought your ticket, it's simply amazing and I could quite easily spend hours just soaking it in.

Tim Smit was the visionary behind this project, as well as a number of initiatives in Cornwall, however the Eden Project is by far the one he's best known for.

Music Track:

Elbow - One day like this

The Unseen collaborator

Every Joiner begins in silence, then finds its structure through its unseen collaborator—music. The tempo sets the pace of assembly; melodies suggest movement and balance. Music shapes the emotional architecture of each piece, guiding where energy builds and where calm returns. To truly experience a Joiner, it should be viewed while listening to the music that shaped it. Only then does the visual rhythm align with the heartbeat, the beat, it was born from.

Each Joiner is created but not yet printed.

This is intentional. Printing every piece in advance would compromise the freedom each collector deserves. By commissioning a Joiner at the moment of purchase, you decide its scale and presence—tailored precisely to your space and vision. Every print is then produced to museum-grade archival standards, ensuring permanence, precision, and exclusivity.
