About Mark

Mark Murfitt is a British fine art photographer whose monumental compositions transform familiar landmarks into something entirely new.

Using his distinctive “Joining” technique, each work is built from dozens of individually captured photographs layered into a single immersive narrative — a living story woven from light, perspective, and place. More than technique, it is about capturing time, memory, and detail in ways no single frame could, revealing subtle rhythms and hidden beauty within the familiar.

His artworks reimagine icons we think we know, inviting us to look longer, to see deeper, and to experience the ordinary as extraordinary — where landmarks become panoramic narratives and fragments of memory are joined into enduring works of art.
